I would like to introduce myself to the mailing list as a source of
custom built hardware for fMRI use. I have worked with fMRI data at
Stanford for a number of years, and have since been building custom
stimulus-delivery and response-collection devices to serve the needs of
researchers worldwide. These devices include tactile stimulus
mechanisms, joysticks, response pads, musical interfaces and others.
One of my products is a head-mounted eyetracking camera that works with
many popular eyetracking software packages. The camera is mounted to a
mask that allows the device to be placed on a subject in less than a
minute. There is no focusing or aligning necessary. The spatial
eyetracking resolution is about half a degree, and the temporal refresh
is 30frames/sec, or 60fields/sec (NTSC standard). This camera system is
also one of the most economically priced fMRI eyetracking cameras
available. I have also been developing a headcoil-mounted camera that
will be compatible with very tight-fitting coils such as the new GE
8-channel coil.
To view pictures and video of the eyetracker (or any other of my
products), please see my website: http://www.magconcept.com/mri.html
Thanks very much -Ben
