This recipe works for SPM2. For conjunctions, all of your contrasts need to be in the same design matrix
One solution is to set it up with ANOVA under basic models. Enter your con images for each group.
In the contrast manager make a t contrast for group A: 1 0
then make a contrast for group B: 0 1
Then select both together by holding down the shift key.
You'll probably want to have the conjunction null update.
To get the whole donut you should also specify a contrast of the difference between groups 1 -1 as your one-sample t's arent useful for making statistical inference about differences (or similarities) between groups.

I have 2 groups - a control group and a clinical group- and I've run 1 group
ttests on each of the groups separately.
Can someone tell me how to run a conjunction of these two maps, so I can see
where activations are significant on both maps?
