Hi,
those of you using Mac OS X (10.4.3) and SPM5 might have noticed
problems. With the help of the Matlab support team (thanks to the
support team in Germany) we found a solution for the Matlab crashes
when the spatial normalisation routine wanted to reslice. It should
now work with a spm_bsplins.mexmac compiled with the optimisation
flag turned OFF (mexopts.sh: COPTIMFLAGS flag -O3 turned off). I
don't know what is exactly happening there - but it works.
There might be other yet unknown problems too which might relate to
the optimisation procedure of the compiler. But for now put the
attached mexmac into the spm5_updates directory and feel like a beta
tester ...
Best wishes, Christian
