We are pleased to announce that we have now published a programme for the
following conference, to be held in London, at the LSE and LSHTM, on 29th
and 30th June 2006:
20 Years of Health Policy Studies. What Difference Have We Made?
The programme is available on the Conference Web Page
http://www.lse.ac.uk/collections/healthPolicyConference/. The aim of the
conference is to reflect on the impact of 20 years of health policy studies,
within and beyond the joint LSE/LSHTM MSc Health Policy, Planning and
Financing, in the light of the many important achievements of the almost one
thousand graduates form this programme. The conference is open to all. We
are delighted that many high profile speakers have accepted to give talks at
the Conference, among them are Prof. Richard Feachem, Executive Director of
the Global Fund and former Dean of the LSHTM; distinguished HPPF Alumni like
Josep Figueras, Head of the European Observatory on Health Care Systems, and
Henk Bekedam, WHO Representative for China; and key members of staff of LSE
and LSHTM like Prof. Anne Mills, Prof. Elias Mossialos, Prof. Julian Le
Grand and many others.
