Janet Robinson published an article about 7 yrs ago in BJM or Practicing
Midwife from a study based on interviews w. women who had serum screen
positive for Downs and went on to deliver a normal baby, some of whom
described that feeling.

Subject: the worried well
Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any literature that looks at the
worried well? I am particularly interested in studies where pregnant
women have had a diagnosis of suspected anomaly which has later
resolved, but who describe lingering concerns such as, contining to
think their infant is more vulnerable.
Many thanks,
Mary Carolan.
