The next City University Midwifery Department Seminar will take place on
Wednesday 10th May 2006 from 12.30 - 1.30pm.
This will be held in Room 3F at West Smithfield campus, 20 Bartholomew
Close.

The speaker will be Mary Sawtell, Research Officer from the Social
Science Research Unit, Institute of Education, London.
Her talk is entitled "Teenage Parenthood and Social Exclusion." The
seminar focuses on the findings of a multi-method study addressing the
question 'What are the critical factors distinguishing between teenage
motherhood with positive outcomes from teenage motherhood without such
outcomes.'
Please note that the JUNE seminar will now be taking place on Wednesday
21st June (not the 28th) and our speaker will be Lesley Fairley from the
Northern and Yorkshire Cancer Registry and Information Service (NYCRIS)
in Leeds. Her talk will focus on socioeconomic status and caesarean
sections in Scotland.
