"The forums have been down for several hours and we have been working to
find
out what exactly the problem has been. We have received a ton of media
attention the last few days and in light of today's events, we have been
flooded.
We are also concerned about possible malicious attacks. Our apologies for
this
inconvenience. It is still possible that they will continue. Please
disseminate."
Sincerely,
Joseph Turner

As you may already know, the Save Our State message board was recently
inaccessible. Beginning in the early morning of May 1st, our opponents
initiated a Distributed Denial of Service Attack. Our opponents
entered in a URL that contained a program that allowed their computers to
continually request information from our server, thus flooding our site.
As a result, our host took our page offline and this resulted in our
message board going "dark" for the day. We are doing our best to
mitigate this problem. Please note that this is an all volunteer effort and
every attempt is being made to upgrade our service to protect ourselves.
However, this takes time and money and we are all in short supply of
that. Your continued patience is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Joseph Turner
Executive Director
