RCUK Academic Fellowship in Life Sciences, Security and Society, in the
Policy, Ethics and Life Sciences (PEALS) Research Centre
PEALS is seeking to appoint a Fellow who will take forward its
interdisciplinary work examining science, security and the body; in
particular the social and ethical consequences of a range of life
science and biotechnology innovations that are being used to infer,
authenticate, and interrogate identity in the course of varied efforts
to control crime, manage risk and shape individual and collective
conduct. PEALS is a recognized national and international centre for
excellence in the examination of the social and ethical aspects of the
life sciences.
