Hi Marko,
you are right, that spm_select uses a different filter mechanism
(so-called regular expressions). There is no code implemented to use the
old-style filtering, so you will have to learn the new features. Actually,
they are much more powerful... If you read the "?" help or Matlab regexp
help, you will hopefully get started.
