Hi All
Does anyone have any (real world) experience of the legal issues that
surround allowing members of the public to upload images that they've
taken of galleries and exhibitions?
In particular we're interested in not only letting people upload images
via our various websites (in which case we could presumably disclaim to
our hearts' content) but also by using their mobiles and MMS, in which
case we'd probably have to do something a bit cleverer.
We have done quite a lot of thinking about the implications of this from
a privacy perspective and also have some legal guidance, but I'm
particularly looking for those who have actually done it rather than
those with a vast amount of theory and not much practice...
Be interesting to hear either on- or off-list.
Thanks
Mike
