Apologies for cross-posting
The new Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) in Doha represents a ground breaking
move by the Authorities in Qatar to develop the state as a cultural and
educational centre of excellence. This high profile development is
currently working in partnership with the British Museum to launch the
operation and recruit and train the senior management team.
As part of this we have an outstanding opportunity for someone to join
the organisation to spearhead the promotion of the museum, both
internally and externally, harnessing all aspects of new media. You
will be responsible for creating and managing the museum website, for
the production and delivery of all interactive projects and content
using a variety of media channels, and for its integration into
exhibition spaces (in conjunction with the curatorial team) to ensure
that artefacts are presented in a creative and interactive setting.
Interviews will be held over the next two weeks in London for this role,
for more information about the role and about life in the rapidly
developing state of Qatar please email or visit the MIA recruitment
site:
www.hays.com/jobs/mia
If this role is not of interest, please do not hesitate to pass this to
other individuals who may be looking for a move overseas.
