[Apologies for cross-posting]
We are trying to make learning/understanding referencing easier for our
students. At the moment, we only have step by step online guides with a
test-yourself quiz. And we are looking into creating e-learning resources
with proper interactive elements - a resource that lets the student make the
decisions and choices (eg is it a book, is it edited....) and then gives the
relevant answer. We anticipate this will be on our VLE, used by distance
learners and local students alike. It is a joint project between library
staff and the Study Support team.
At the moment we're still at the storyboarding/planning stages. We already
know this 'idea' is beyond the spec of our Content Management System. We
are considering using branching Captivate (+/or Perception V.4).
Before we go any further in our decisions, I would be very grateful
- to hear of any e-learning resources you use / have developed.
- and any tips or cautions about software, pitfalls, successes...
Many thanks & have a good weekend, all
