Project: Written emotional disclosure for treatment and prevention of
depression in people with Type 2 diabetes

Studentship: The PhD studentship is for a period of three years, and
includes payment of tuition fees (Home and EU) and a postgraduate stipend of
£12,500 per annum. This position will start as soon as possible, ideally
before the end of April 2007.
Applicants: Applicants should have a good first degree and, ideally, a
relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. Health Psychology, MSc) or
equivalent research experience. You will have skills in quantitative
methods and data analysis, as well as the ability to work independently and
as part of a multi-disciplinary research team.
Environment: The successful applicant will be based in Warwick Medical
School and join a large, active postgraduate community and a staff group
with research expertise spanning the social, behavioural and clinical
sciences, as well as the medical specialities. Warwick is one of the UK ’s
leading research universities and in the last RAE was rated fifth in the
national rankings, with over 90% of staff in departments with top research
ratings of 5*.
