GIS Data Analyst/Modeller
From £19,388 (with £19,388 being the minimum of the scale)
Part-time (2 days / 14 hours per week)

Reporting to the Senior Geographic Information Analyst, you will
provide GIS based environmental data handling, analysis, mapping and
interpretation skills in support of corporate GIS needs. Responding
to GIS helpdesk queries, providing required feedback and outputs to
internal customers will also be involved, as well as producing maps and
cartographic output as required by GIS helpdesk customers.
You will be a graduate in a relevant scientific discipline with at least
2 years’ relevant GIS experience including working knowledge of ESRI
Geographic Information System software. You must have experience in
preparation and presentation of reports with cartographic content,
both technical and non-technical. Good IT skills including MS Office, good
working knowledge of ESRI GIS software and its practical application are
required. You must also have experience in data handling and reporting
scientific and environmental information. Familiarity with a broad range of
environmental and geographical issues and understanding of RDBMS in an
ORACLE environment are desirable.
