We are currently looking for a Senior Research Geologist (PhD) to work for our company. We are putting together an intra-company task force to deal with (initially) high-sulfidation/porphyry systems (Chelopech and Timok) focussing on the Carpathian arc. Obviously there is an abundance of work to be done - Chelopech - redefine geology/alteration/structural model within the mine and near-mine environment; Timok - well I hardly need to tell you how much work there is here in terms of understanding the metallogeny of this belt of rocks - we would expect the candidate to be experienced in all modern dating techniques, fluid inclusions etc. etc.
The position is a staff position, most likely based in Sofia with a competitive remuneration package. Dr. Brett Davis (Principal Structural Geologist) will be looking after the structural component of the work.
I would appreciate it if you could disseminate this offer amongst your colleagues to see if anyone is interested. If there is interest could they forward their resumes/letters to the above on the list and we can discuss in further detail the role.
Appreciate your help,
Sean Hasson
