We are co-organizing a theme session in honor of Maria Luisa Crawford at
GSA annual meeting in Philadelphia. If you would like you to be part of the
symposium, you will need to submit an abstract via the GSA website
(www.geosociety.org) to theme session T120.
The title of the theme session is "Minerals, Melts, Fluids, and the
Evolution of Mountain Belts: A Tribute to Maria Luisa Crawford"
The description of the theme session is as follows:
Maria Luisa Crawford's deeply insightful research combines mapping,
mineralogic-petrogenetic studies, and fluid inclusion data to
comprehend mountain belt evolution. We invite those inspired by her
work to submit papers on these subjects in her honor.
Please remember you can only submit one volunteered abstract as a speaker. If
another abstract is submitted with the author as a speaker, all abstracts
listing
that speaker may be rejected. Just a warning. The deadline for abstracts is
July 11th. Both oral and poster presentations will be accepted.
We hope you can join us.
