Isabella, thank you for you contribution to the drawing research
discussion list. I can't think of a longer posting to the list in our 6
year history. You make some helpful associations between earlier
postings and I enjoyed your reflection on the debate. However, for me,
your general and specific criticisms of teaching detracted from the
constructive contributions you made. Drawing research is a very young
subject and our knowledge base is fragile. Our collective task is to
present evidence and opinion that leads to a strengthening of our
knowledge base. Yes, criticism is essential but the goal of criticism
must be enlightenment.

anyone who uses the reply function deletes those sections of Isabella's
