Yes it was. It was a straightforward attack on Alan Freeman. It
attacked the man not the point of the argument, which was your querying
the credentials of the _Critique of Political Economy_. Alan Freeman
posted an announcement concerning the journal and Chris Ford attacked
Freeman. This is a classic example of an example of an ad hominem
argument.

True, although I don't know why you have put the word "praxis" in quote
marks. But Ford's post did not challenge Freeman's praxis. It showered
him with abuse - perhaps deserved, perhaps not - which added f-all to
the discussion,
