i had forgotten and am happy to be reminded
it was gated for a while with ppl expected to write saying what they
wanted from the list / to give - bring to the list
i remember lobbying for the removal of those gates - well nobody will
be able to access those posts since they were behind closed doors - ;)
btw Ric (yes, bless him) felt completely depressed at the way that
bitterness spilled out onto the list - that is why he expanded the
list-ownership and then handed it over
that's why we handed it over too
;)
