We are currently looking at the role of our Subject Librarians within
Blackboard. As they work very closely with academics they have suggested
having role which allows them to add content to course areas (as long as
the academic is happy with this). This will obviously mean enrolling our
Librarians in every course for their particular subject, so I would be
grateful for suggestions as to the recommended course role which they
should be allocated, and also any experiences of Librarians having this
level of involvement within Blackboard at your own University (positive or
otherwise).
