The following text is an email a colleague has just forwarded - can
anyone comment / advise?
"We have a serious problem with Blackboard being used by a visually
impaired tutor, not being able to access the text boxes (using JAWS and
IE) when the editing features are enabled. I have been trying to find
out if she could use an alternative browser but unfortunately this is
not the case. I have also investigated the latest version of Jaws which
does not solve the problem.
I am not sure where we should go with this but we are failing the
lecturer quite badly. The only solution at the moment involves a global
change to the sever to disable the text editing functions but I know
these are widely used.
Can anyone make any sensible suggestions?
Thanks
Dan "
