My understanding is that this is a known flaw (we have it in version 7
too), which it was promised would be fixed by the first hotfix pack for
this year.

Hello Cathy,
Thanks for your reply. I have just checked and this is turned on. Any
other suggestions?

Hi Sam,
You may need to check that you have Event Tracking switched on at the
system admin level.
SYSTEM ADMIN TAB > SYSTEM REPORTING > AUTO-REPORTING OPTIONS >2. Event
Tracking

Hello again,
Another question that a few of the instructors here have commented that
when they run stats on Bb they are showing zero hits on a content area.
I had presumed this was because they had not switched on the tracking on
items. However, I have an example where someone has switched this on all
items and she is still showing zero hits (and she knows students have
access it). The blackboard version in question is 6.3 .
Any ideas?
Thanks
