Hello,
I am currently working on the migration from our 6.3 installation to 7.0
and due to the fact that our database may be full of errors we have
decided to do a clean install and to migrate each of the courses
individually as we do not want to re-create the same errors in our new
database.
We having problems in archiving some of our courses due to browser time
out issues. It seems to work on some courses but not others. Is there
a setting that can be altered to prevent this from happening? I do not
believe that this is an issue with the browser I am using but with BB
itself.
Also in our BB 7.0 install on our test server we are experiencing
problems with Direct Access. Even though it is turned on Blackboard
refuses to allow any one in without entering a username and password
first. Even the preview button does not work. I have checked all of
the settings on the gateway options in the control panel and even
checked that guests can see courses. As we have the community system I
have also checked that they can access the tabs too.
Any suggestions on any of this would be appreciated.
