A useful paper, espcially for the up-to-date list of Barth's references.
Strangely enough Barth and his associates have for many years said that
the slits of different length in the lyriform organ are not doing a
Fourier transform. Until recently. So they are probably functioning a
bit like a TV aerial in being tuned to specific frequncies.
