TRAINING EVENT AND EASTERN REGION AGM - MARCH 2007
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR VOLUNTEERS:
Many archivists, librarians and museum curators are already using or
considering the use of volunteers to support various aspects of their
work. Some organisations may also be establishing a friends’ organisation
or considering such a venture.
A well run volunteer programme can be an asset to any office but how do you
make the most of your volunteers?
In light of the Audit Office’s forthcoming Comprehensive Performance
Assessment indicators, which may include volunteers as one of the key
targets areas in the archive sector, this course gives you the opportunity
to undertake a workshop with an experienced consultant.
Venue: Suffolk Record Office, Ipswich Branch
Date: 16 March 2007
Lunch will be provided for delegates attending the training course.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
