Short description:
The increasing complexity of the environments in which we live and work requires us to continue the search for ways, methods, and techniques to improve our ability to make better decisions. This special session intends to present the sate-of-the-art work in the areas of dynamic decision making and learning in complex systems to draw together to align our best understanding of decision making in complex, dynamic environments. Contributions on topics but not limited to
(i) theories on learning and decision making in dynamic tasks,
(ii) the empirical studies on the effectiveness of system dynamics based tools and models in service of dynamic decision making,
(iii) and measuring expertise on dynamic decision making will make the core of this session.
All the interested participants in this session are requested to send in their abstract asap to me ([log in to unmask]). At the same time they are invited to submit their full papers for this session before March 1, 2006.
