RESEARCH ASSOCIATES IN THE HISTORY OF MEDICINE
Salary £20,842 - £24,886 per annum
Three posts are available from October 2006 You will assist with research
and teaching and have the opportunity to develop your own work. You should
hold, or soon be acquiring, a PhD in the history of medicine or related
area.
• LS/104/06 – Tenable for one year to work on a history of public health
in 20th century Manchester.
• LS/105/06 – Tenable for two years to study ‘Diseases of Civilisation’ in
the 19th and 20th century.
• LS/106/06 – Tenable for two years to study Contemporary Medical History
Both two-year appointments are supported by a Strategic Award from the
Wellcome Trust.
