CALL FOR ENTRIES
Drawing
Art in Action is running a new Drawing section at this year's show in
July. The aim is to represent the usage of drawing practice in as
wide a range of disciplines as possible, from fine and applied arts
to architecture and other industry design practices. What I am
looking for in applicants is that drawing plays a pivotal role in
their wider work, whether it is artistic work or industrial design.
I am currently seeking applications on a first come, first served
basis and have some places already confirmed, so please submit
examples of drawing and related other work, along with a cv and
artist's statement, as soon as possible to [log in to unmask]
Art in Action was the first and is still, in its 28th year, the best
demonstration-based fair in the UK, attracting 25,000 paying visitors
each year. Attached is a FAQs sheet for more detail, and you can
visit the website on http://www.artinaction.org.uk
I look forward to hearing from Drawing Research Network contributors.
