Greetings all: At the end of last term I sent out a request for Afro-Latino literature to include in my Black Diaspora Lit. course. I was unfamiliar with many of the authors that were recommended and since many of them were "new writers," I wanted to ask how folks manage to stay on the pulse of the "new writers of note." Am I missing magazines or journals devoted to contemporary Caribbean/Latino-Latina literary cultures (broadly defined)? I am familiar with a few of these like Kunapipi for example but where else can one keep track of the new authors in these fields lurking around out there?
