Senior Research Fellow (£35,254 - £43,850) required for the Health
Economics Research Unit, University of Aberdeen
The Chief Scientist Office of the Scottish Executive Health Department and
the University of Aberdeen wish to appointment a Senior Research Fellow.
This post will be based in the Health Economics Research Unit within the
Institute of Applied Health Sciences in the College of Life Sciences and
Medicine.
We are seeking an individual experienced in econometrics to make a key
contribution to a project recently funded by the National Prevention
Research Initiative (NPRI), which is co-ordinated by the Medical Research
Council (MRC). The project is an empirical study of lifestyle
interventions to prevent obesity in adults and the central component will
involve the management and econometric analysis of large and complex panel
data sets. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of
researchers at the Universities of Melbourne and Aberdeen. This is a three-
year post in the first instance.
