The Crisis Open Christmas project provides six shelters in central London
for up to 1500 homeless people. Open from the 23rd to the 30th of December,
the event provides a range of essential health, housing, training and
support services as well as companionship at this particularly vulnerable
time. Over 4000 volunteers staff the entire event.
At Crisis we have a strong belief in giving precedence to the views and
experiences of single homeless people, and encouraging participation in the
design and implementation of the services we provide. It is important that
we ensure that our services are effective and responsive to the changing
needs of homeless people.
Even if you only have one day you can contribute to the research please do
get in contact - any time you can spare would be a great help!
