I have just found out that its you sysadmins who decide if we should go
with an upgraded version of D-Cache such as 1.6.6 rather than stick with
the old version currently in D-Cache. So others are interesteted too.
This is unfortunately to late for us to get 1.6.6 into the next LCG
release, but their is expected to be a bug fix release to the next LCG
release soon after the next release which you guys can say if you think
the new version of D-Cache is better than the old version. The request
for upgrade must be done before mid/late Jan.
I am without a vote as I am working on the YAIM stuff which will not be
merged into the official release as my code as yet does not configure
the old version of D-Cache. If you do not want to upgrade to the new
version of D-Cache this will be my first priority as I want my improved
code to be on the standard install otherwise I shall focus on
information integration and pnfs splitting.
Regards
Owen
