Subject: Mean and Maximum Value Tests
Table A1.1 in CLR 7 shows the relationship between sample size (n) and t for
a 95th %ile confidence limit for up to 30 samples. It then directs you to
either table A1.2 or to the Technometrics article; Extension of Sample Sizes
and Percentage Points for Significance Tests of Outlying Observations
(Technometrics, vol. 14, No. 4, November 1972). Although I have access to
this Journal electronically through my Athens log-in, the online version
does not quite stretch this far back!
Does anyone have an electronic copy or a copy of the relevant table in the
article that they wouldn't mind sharing with the Mailing List?
Cheers
Jon
