Max Rives could not trace a Mercure de France 1939 edition of Kim.
I have received the 2 volumes from Tim Connell; they are as he stated,
publisher in Paris. In French style limp paper covers, pale yellow. No
list of contents, no illustrations. Chapters numbered in Roman.
The excerpt from the catalogue bound in at end lists a total of 19 works by
RK, most priced at F16.50, Also a lot by H G Wells and a few by Oscar Wilde.
I also have the Delagrave edition, with illustrations. Geo Webb also had
this, commented that the illustrations were interesting and odd.
