RESEARCH ASSOCIATE: GERMAN CORPUS LINGUISTICS (REF:
HUM/299/05)
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate to contribute
to the project “GerManC: A historical corpus of German 1650-1800”,
funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. (ESRC).
Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a PhD in
Linguistics. They should have native or near-native speaker competence
in German and English and some experience of working with electronic
linguistic corpora.
Salary will be on the scale for Research Associate Grade 1A £20,044 –
£22,289 per annum. This post is available for a fixed term of 12 months,
starting on 1 January 2006 or as soon as possible thereafter.
