Thanks for this presentation, I think my students will get a lot from it.
I was surprised by how low (negative, in fact) net consumer confidence has
been over the past 5 years, considering the basically benign economic
climate. Have I misunderstood the measure? Can anyone enlighten me, or are
we just a nation of pessimists?
