Head of Learning Support

Salary Scale PO3/4 £30,002 - £35,254 per annum

The Service provides comprehensive support for the university's disabled students and offers study skills development to facilitate students' learning. Working closely with Departmental and Faculty staff, the Head of the Service will undertake a review of the service, to ensure high quality, pro-active support in accordance with the university's learning and teaching strategy, relevant legislation and codes of practice.

The successful applicant will possess a first degree, with at least two years' experience of managing a team. Thorough knowledge of disability issues, legislation and current strategic priorities in higher education are essential, matched by effective communication and organisational skills and a commitment to innovation.
