BES-mire
I have a quote that John Jeglum and I wanted to include in our forthcoming
book on Biology of Peatlands. In the report where we found it the reference
was wrong, so we don't know who wrote it.
"Peat bogs are an integral part of the world's ecological heritage. It is
our responsibility to exploit
them wisely. It is also our duty to work towards protecting and
regenerating them ensuring the
diversity of fauna and flora, which live and reproduce therein.
Furthermore, we have a mission to
rebuild living and dynamic ecosystems which will evolve naturally into new
peat bogs."
Does anyone know where it comes from?
Regards,
Håkan Rydin
