Treatment Center to Hold Open House
The long-awaited opening of New Beginnings, Southwest Virginia, Inc.
is scheduled for Nov. 1, 2005.
Located in Dryden, New Beginnings will offer hope to many residents
who are affected by drug/alcohol addiction. New Beginnings is a
residential, long-term, adult treatment facility.
The staff and board are inviting the community to an Open House from
2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23. Tours will be available.
Goals of New Beginnings are:
To provide a safe, drug-free environment. After the detox period,
which will occur before admission, no maintenance drugs such as
methadone will be used.
To conduct long-term adult residential treatment in a therapeutic community.
To use a treatment modality grounded in the 12-steps of
recovery. The 12 steps of recovery will be an integral part of the
daily counseling routine.
To include relevant therapeutic and counseling modalities to return
individuals to a productive sober life.
