Regarding La Voz, surely the true aims or colours of a newspaper are reflected by those who own it, rather than the gallery of employees who can come and go? This speaks for itself where La Voz is concerned. As long as there is no Galicianist newspaper in Galicia (and I say 'Galicianist' in a non-partisan or political way), then the Galician public has to put up with old-school Spanish uniformism with the fashionable spattering of notable Galician opinion writers. And at the same time, their media is mostly in Castilian. It stinks of the patronising PP-style way of relating to Galician culture (i.e. give it funding just as long as it knows its place in the wider, centralist scheme of things). Defending Galician culture does not mean that one has to be uncritical towards it. Yet at the same time, many of the writers in La Voz (for example) write many a good line attacking the core values of a large section of Galician society. Calaza is the worst example of this.
At the same time, I agree that La Voz de Galicia represents - to differing extents - two voices of Galicia. It's our own personal choice which one we choose to listen to more.
