I think that's a great idea.
There's no Wikipedia entry for Learning Object Metadata either, though
the entry for entry for Learning Object is much about the LOM as it is
Learning Objects. I've thought about changing that, for example using
the CETIS LOM briefing paper as starting point [might need to smooth
over some IPR issues first though: Heriot Watt probably think they own
my every thought on metadata :-} ]
With respect to the original question, there's also the CETIS reference
section, but I don't think much has been added to that recently, and
might not have what you need.
