Dear colleagues,
I'm currently writing the project brief to initiate the Records Management
project within the Constabulary. One of the points I aim to make is that
effective RM policies and procedures will reduce the time staff spend trying
to find information/records, thereby increasing Force efficiency. I'd like
to use some statistics to back up this claim, but am having trouble finding
any concrete stats. I'd therefore be grateful if anybody could let me have,
or point me in the direction of, any statistics that show the percentage of
time staff currently spend trying to retrieve information in the absence of
records management controls. Statistics from any sector would be helpful.
Please reply to me individually, and I will summarise for the list if it
would be felt helpful.
Many thanks
Jenny
