Folks,
Finally, I've produced a short wikipedia article on Starlink: <http://
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starlink_Project>. It's not perfect, but I
think it provides the main information one would expect there. Edit
away. By the way, <http://dev.starlink.ac.uk> really isn't the
prettiest page on the web, and it's not trivially easy to get from
that page to the page of instructions on how to check out the CVS
repository.
Quite separately, I've drafted a paper for Software Practice and
Experience on the build system. It's a late-ish draft, but I've
decided to leave it for a few days before returning for a proper read
through. It's currently at <http://www.astro.gla.ac.uk/users/norman/
temp/star-cvs-1.6.pdf>: I'm not looking for anything detailed, but if
anyone would like to glance through it and make observations of the
`too long', `too boring', `I want more detail' class, I'd be most
appreciative.
See you,
Norman
