Washington University, St. Louis March 24-25, 2006
The 14th Annual Symposium of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and
Econometrics will be held at Washington University in St. Louis on March 24-
25, 2006. The aim of the meeting is to present and discuss recent
developments in theoretical and empirical analysis of nonlinearity in
economics and finance.
Professor Charles Nelson of the University of Washington, well known as a
leading scholar in empirical macroeconometrics, will be the plenary speaker.
The meeting will also consist of invited and contributed papers.
You are invited to submit a paper. Completed manuscripts or extended
abstracts can be submitted electronically via the Conference Maker software
by following the "2006 Meeting of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and
Econometrics" link at
http://gemini.econ.umd.edu/conference/
To submit a paper, note that you must select a program committee member to
whom your paper will be assigned.
Submissions must be received on or before December 1, 2005. Authors will be
notified whether their papers have been accepted for the Symposium by

Papers presented at the conference may be considered for publication in the
society’s journal, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics,
which is published by the Berkeley Electronic Press and which can be
accessed at

All registrants, including presenters (invited and contributed) must pay the
registration fee, which helps defray the cost of the meeting. The
