You are kidding - what Economics books are you using? Our experience is
that there is loads of theory out there and not enough practical exercises
offering exam-style questions and guidance. Economics textbooks seem to be
at least a decade behind the business equivalent.
There are so many books out there now, it's difficult to know where to start
and I guess it depends what you are after - theoretical explanations or
revision. Can personally recommend the AS textbooks by Surridge/Gillespie
and Thompson/Machin, which are spot on for theory and packed with up-to-date
cases. Their data responses also reflect the mark schemes of the major
exams and the teacher guides are good too.
My current fave revision guides are the AS/A2 guides produced by CGP and the
Business Studies for AS Revision Guide edited by Marcouse for Hodder.
If you're looking for teacher resources then Philip Allen's Cue Cards and
Flash Cards have a multitude of uses. Marcouse's A - Z Workbook takes a lot
of beating for quick recap activities and my absolute personal favourite is
Gillespie's Business Studies Through Diagrams.
I could go on ..... and on....!
Hope this is of some help!

Does anybody have any suggestions for some quality, up to date reading for
Business students? We have plenty of suggestions for economics on this
list, but some business books would be very welcome.
Many thanks
