Hi All,

I too agree, although I am not be able to come (being 6000 miles away does
not help), nothing beats contemplation in silence with just nature around
you since it envelops you with peace, it surrounds you with wonder, it
replaces frustration with hope, it displaces the veil of deciet and shows
the simple truth.....it is an experience we urbanites have almost
lost......I say almost since I think people in this gruop still do have a
little of nature within us :)
Here is an poem I kinda like...
The Old Nurse
And Nature, the old nurse, took
The Child upon her knee,
saying: “Here is a story book
Thy Father has written for thee.”
“Come, wander with me,” she said,
“Into regions yet untrod;
And read what is still unread
In the manuscripts of God.”
And he wandered away and away
With Nature, the dear old nurse,
Who sang to him night and day
The rhymes of the Universe.
And wherever the way seemed long,
Or his heart began to fail,
She would sing a more wonderful song
Or tell a more marvelous tale.
~Longfellow
