Pioneers, Adventurers and the Creation of the Atlantic World conference 23-
25th September 2005. Bristol.
In case anyone missed this, there are still places available for this
conference that we have organised at the University of Bristol on 23-25th
September.

archaeological and historical and includes lectures from archaeologists
Barry Cunliffe, Tadhg O'Keeffe, Jim Symmonds, Ken Kelly, Dan Hicks, Peter
Wells, Mark Horton. There will be an evening reception at the Empire and
Commonwealth museum as part of the conference. Registration is an
incredibly cheap £14!
There is also a free public lecture (with a glass of wine afterwards, 24th
September at 7.00 pm.:
