We are seeking an enthusiastic researcher with good quantitative skills to
join an experienced team of researchers establishing the Scottish
Longitudinal Study. You will provide support for academics wishing to
access the SLS and to conduct your own original research with the dataset.
You must have, or be about to complete, a PhD in a relevant discipline,
although strong candidates with Masters degrees may be considered.
Considerable experience of handling and manipulating large complex datasets
and good communications skills are required. Preferably, you should have
experience of longitudinal datasets and modelling techniques.
The post will be for 2 years in the first instance, but a longer-term post
may be negotiable.
