The Kindersite Project is involved in an European Union co-funded project
compiling Best eLearning Practices, for 5 to 12 year old children and their
schools, in to a usable searchable system, in multiple languages, for use
across Europe and the world.
The project acronym is CHiPs
http://www.chipsproject.org/pages/Homepage.aspx. The Project coordinator is
the Municipality of Lecce, Southern Italy.
I am asking the list for help in this project by providing examples of Best
eLearning practices or potentially interested contacts. Please note the best
practices should focus on the methodologies rather than the results.
For example, a class is assigned a task to build a class presentation as a
website. The final site is not of interest but rather the steps that were
taken for the children to achieve the capabilities to use the technological
tools and comprehending how to design and utilize the tools.
