An Apple person on the [log in to unmask] list said `Known
problem. A fix is in the pipeline', in a context where I thought
they were acknowledging a compiler problem, but subsequent prodding
-- always a difficult business with employees of Apple `Trappists-R-
us' Computers -- revealed that it was deemed a problem with the OSX
build of snmpd. Googling for `Expected in: flat namespace' produces
the usual depressing number of puzzled reports, but no
enlightenment. <http://wegener.mechanik.tu-darmstadt.de/GMT-Help/
Archiv/13141.html> seems to have a few leads, but very scattered, and
some of them unhelpfully obscured by the archive's munging of strings
that include @-signs.

You're right -- I don't think it's the same problem.
See you,
